FDA finalized a Level 1 guidance titled “Formal Meetings Between the FDA and Sponsors or Applicants of PDUFA Products.” Issued by CDER and CBER on August 12, 2026, it sets recommendations for how sponsors should handle formal meetings on new drug and biologic development and review, replacing the 2023 draft.
